Siddharth had his last successful film Konchem ishtam Konchem kastam, is now ready with his second film in this year, Oye. The film is directed by Anand Ranga, produced by D.V.V Danayya under the banner of Universal Media.It is announced that the film had its release on July 3. The music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. In this film, Siddharth is pairing up with Anjali fame Shamili.The film is said to be a poetic love story that revolves around two youngsters who finally get together in the climax after overcoming the hurdles. The remaining cast done by Sunil Ali, Pradeep Rawat, M.S Narayana, Tanikella Bharani, Krishnudu, Surekavani, Master Bharath etc.,The popular Tamil actor Nepolean and also a minister in the cabinet, is starring in this film as hero’s father.

She said that she did not do any movie and also kept saying that she wouldn’t like to be an actress.But now her new film Oye with Siddharth as his pair is on release, it is because the script of director Anand appears to have impressed her so much.Director Anand kept the climax secret and now it is heard from the insiders that the heroine of Oye will die in the end. It may also be remembered that in her first film as a child also, Shamili dies.So, it comes out that Oye Is a soft love story with a tragic end. It is clear that Shamili was impressed only by the script because it was a tragedy

Shamili, who debuted in films with Mani Ratnam's Anjali is all set to enter Tollywood as a full fledged heroine in a new film opposite chocolate hero Siddharth to be directed by Anand. D. V. V. Danayya will be producing Shamili’s debut flick under Universal media banner.
Incidentally, Baby Shamili's elder sister Shalini also started off as a child artiste with the Malayalam movie Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku, for which she won the Kerala State Award at the ripe young age of 3! Shalini later retired after a successful run as a top actress and is married to actor Ajith.
The film is planned for an October 1st launch.

Shamili is better known as Baby Shamili, the girl who stole hearts in Mani Rathnam’s Anjali.Shamili was born in 1986. Movies are familiar territory for this actress as her brother Richard is an actor and so is her sister Shalini Kumar. Her portrayal as a mentally ill girl who finds acceptance and love in Mani Rathnam’s Anjali (1990) shot her to fame and won her a National Film Award for Best Child Artist. Since then she has worked in many Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam movies like Durga (1990), Pookkalam Varavayi (1991) and Sambhavi (1993).
